About the hotel

The hotel is located in the heart of western Berlin in the district of Wilmersdorf, only a few minutes to the city's most famous shopping mile. Kurfürstendamm.

Our 36 very spacious rooms with a red and gold colour scheme and individually produced Italian period furniture add to the harmonious overall picture. Every detail of this establishment, ranging from Florentine wall paintings to terrazzo floor, all specially and manually manufactured for this hotel, reflects the typically Italian spirit of Mediterranean ease. This hotel enjoys a very convenient location in order to visit on of Berlin's many museums, to meet business partners or in order to visit sights and get to know Berlin better.

A warm welcome at Hotel Albergo in the west City of Berlin! The Albergo, which is Italian for small guesthouse, is located on Hohenzollern Damm 33, and it offers you besides the Mediterranean flair and very luxurious ambience the perfect location to explore Berlin and its sights. Due to that fact, we received the award “recommended Hotel” from the “Feinschmecker” over the last couple of years.
It does not matter whether you are young or old: in our unique architectural and historical building we like to welcome every guest.

Room information

Behind our beautifully decorated facade, we offer you 36 tasteful and stylish double rooms, in red and gold. In the rooms and in the hallways you will find hand painted Italian frescoes and ceiling ornaments that, combined with the Italian manufactured furniture, create a harmonic picture.
The handwork of the interior elements as well as the Terrazzo floors and the hand-set mosaics were created by Italian artists, firms and craftsman.
Furthermore, a TV and a bathroom with Grohe-installations, with a shower and a toilet is included in the room. Additionally some rooms have a balcony and for children there are day nurseries available.
In our Hotel you'll get a holiday feeling right from the start .

Hotel Map

By car:

The city Autobahn is just 1 km away. Coming from the A100 from Magdeburg, Munich, Hamburg follow signs to Berlin-Zentrum, Wilmersdorf and take the Exit Hohenzollerndamm. Make a left turn and you are on the Hohenzollerndamm. The Hotel is on the left hand side.
Coming from Dresden you have to take the same exit but go right at the intersection and follow the Hohenzollerndamm till the Albergo comes up on the left.


By train:

The train station is the Zoologischer Garten, about 2 km away. From there, you take the subway U9 going to “Rathaus Steglitz” and transfer at “Spichernstraße” into the U3 going to “Krumme Lanke”. After 2 stops you have to get off at the “Fehrbelliner Platz”. Take the exit Rathaus Wilmersdorf and follow the Hohenzollerndamm for a few steps.


By plane:

Airport Tegel is 6 km from the hotel. Take the JetExpress Bus X109 and go to Jacob Kaiser Platz. Board the subway U7 going to “Rudow” and go till Fehrbelliner Platz.
Airport Schönefeld is approximately 10 km away. From there take the bus 171 (going one way only) and stay on it till the subway station of Rudow. Now take the U7 going to “Rathaus Spandau” that runs all the way to Fehrbelliner Platz.


From the exhibition centre:

About 3km from the hotel you find the exhibition grounds. You can reach “Messe Nord” by taking the U1 from Fehrbelliner Platz going to “Krumme Lanke” and change into the circle train (going over Westkreuz, Westend, Westhafen) at “Heidelberger Platz” and get off at Messe Nord/ ICC.
To Messe Süd you get from Fehrbelliner Platz with the U7 going to “Rathaus Spandau” and transfer at the train station of Charlottenburg into the S75 or S9 going to “Spandau” and get off at the Messe Süd.
